Rear Wheel Steering Tie Rod End Replacement - Inner

Removal Procedure

Notice:  Refer to Rear Wheel Steering Lifting and Jacking Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Raise the vehicle. 
2. Remove the tire and wheel. 
3. Remove the rack and pinion boot from the steering gear. 

Important:  The inner tie rod support clamp has right hand threads. The inner tie rod support nut has left hand threads. To remove the support
clamp turn the clamp counterclockwise.

4. Using the J 44665-1 (1) and J 44665-2 (2) remove the inner tie rod support clamp.

5. Remove the inner tie rod (1) from the steering gear using the J 44665-2 (2).
