This bulletin is being revised to add the 2009 model year and provide updated information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-08-50-022
(Section 08 - Body & Accessories).
Condition
Some customers may comment on the following conditions with the second row seat:

The seat is hard to latch or unlatch.
^
The seat rattles when driving over bumps.
Cause
The condition may be caused by the floor being slightly lower in the middle of the vehicle.
Correction
Figure 1 - Long wheel base floor seat attach studs shown. Place washers over the studs as required.
Install a washer under the seat assembly on the outboard rear stud.
1.
Place both of the seats in the up/tumbled position to allow more space for evaluation.
2.
Remove the floor covering.
3.
Verify that the seat latches on the bottom of the seat are fully opened.
