Caution:
Do not run the engine while preforming the inspection. Wait for the engine and the cooling system to cool before performing the inspection. Heater
and radiator hoses and other engine parts can be very hot. Do not touch them while the engine is running. If you do, you can be burned. Do not run
the engine if there is a leak. If you run the engine, it could lose all coolant.

Locate the heater inlet and surge tank outlet hoses at the heater core pipe location (1).

Inspect the connection of these two hoses at the heater core pipe location.

If there is a good connection, close the hood. No further action is required.

If there is NOT a good connection, firmly push the quick connect feature of the hose onto the heater core pipe until you hear a click.

Close the hood.
