Evaporative Emission System Hoses/Pipes Replacement
Removal Procedure
Important: Clean the evaporative emission (EVAP) line connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order to avoid
possible EVAP system contamination.
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the EVAP pipe quick connect fitting from the auxiliary EVAP canister. (Body shown removed for clarity).
3. Disconnect the EVAP pipe quick connect fitting from the EVAP canister.
4. Remove the EVAP pipe clip (2) from the frame crossmember.
5. Remove the EVAP pipe clip (1) from the rear brake front pipes.
6. Remove the EVAP pipe (3) from the vehicle.
