Lower the seat slowly to the floor strikers and look to see:
A.
Which latch makes contact with the striker first.
B.
How much mismatch is on the side that has a gap to the striker (Vertically).

If the latch to striker gap is 3 mm or less, then use one washer. If the gap is greater than 3 mm, use two washers. On the outboard stud it may not
be possible to add two washers. See NOTE below.

Remove all the seat attaching nuts and lift the seat assembly to add the washers on the rear attachment stud of the side that had a gap from the latch
to the striker.
7.
Reinstall the seat.
8.
Reinstall the nuts and tighten to 47 Nm +/- 7 Nm (34 lb ft +/- 61 lb in) dynamic, 40 Nm to 60 Nm (29 lb ft to 44 lb ft) static.
Note:
There must always be 3 exposed threads of the stud past the end of the nut once it is fully seated and has proper torque.
9.
Reinstall the floor covering.
10.
Verify that the customer concern is fixed.
