Tahoe 2WD V8-6.0L Hybrid (2008)
Important: Only remove the 2 bolts indicated in the graphic. Under NO circumstances remove any other bolts or the entire steering gear
will need to be replaced.
12. Remove the power steering assist motor bolts (1).
Important: DO NOT remove the power steering assist motor electrical harness from the power steering assist motor. They are serviced
as a unit only.
13. Remove the power steering assist motor and electrical harness (2).
14. If necessary, replace the power steering assist motor seal (3).
Installation Procedure
1. Install any new wiring harness retainers as needed.
Important: It may be necessary to rotate the front tire and wheel assembly while installing the power steering assist motor to in order for
it to mesh with the steering gear properly.
