Tahoe 4WD V8-393 6.5L DSL Turbo VIN S (1995)
Please update the procedure in the appropriate Service Manuals as follows: (See Figure 1)
Knurls of the wiper transmission drive shaft must be cleaned when wiper arm is removed.
Clean knurls of transmission drive shaft with a suitable wire brush.
Notice:
(For 1995-97 U Van ONLY):
DO NOT use J 6627-4 for removal of wiper arms. Vehicle paint will be scratched if use of this tool is attempted. Use a suitable battery terminal
puller for removal of wiper arms. (See Figure 2).
