2009 HUMMER H2, H2 SUT

with 6.0L or 6.2L V8 Engine (RPOs L76, LY6 or L9H)
New Fuel Injector Style
For the 2009 model year, four engine RPOs for 6.0L and 6.2L V8 engines (L76, LY6, L9H) are being equipped with new design Multec 3.5 fuel
injectors. These injectors have proven to be much less susceptible to plugging and restrictions caused by poor quality fuel.
Service Information
For the above listed engines ONLY - when the procedures outlined in bulletin 03-06-04-030F indicate an out-of-balance / restriction condition exists in
one or more fuel injectors, no injector cleaning service should be performed. The out-of-balance injectors should be replaced with new injectors and the
old injectors should be wrapped in aluminum foil, placed in a plastic bag, and returned to the Warranty Parts Center for analysis.
Important:
Do NOT return any parts to the WPC without a WPC Part Return Request. Insert a copy of the WPC Part Return Request, repair order with
technician comments, and any other related documentation into a plastic bag and securely fasten to the parts. Refer to Corporate Bulletin Number
