Rear Door Hinge Replacement (Lower)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.
2. Remove the 4 bolts (1) which secure the rear door lower hinge (2) to the rear door.
3. Remove the 3 bolts (3) which secure the rear door lower hinge (2) to the rear door jamb.
4. Remove the rear door lower hinge (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear door lower hinge (2) to the vehicle. Secure the hinge to the rear door jamb with the 3 mounting bolts (3). Do not tighten fully at this

time.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 4 bolts (1) which secure the rear door lower hinge (2) to the rear door.

Tighten the rear door lower hinge mounting bolts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

3. Install the right tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.
