1. Install new O-rings coated with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Install the evaporator inlet tube to the vehicle.
3. Install the evaporator inlet tube to the body mounted retainers.
4. Install the evaporator inlet tube to the expansion valve.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Slide the plate (2) clockwise and install the bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt (1) to 35 N.m (26 lb ft)

6. Connect the evaporator inlet tube to the condenser outlet tube (6).

Tighten
Tighten the fitting to 35 N.m (26 lb ft)

7. Install the EVAP canister to its bracket.
8. Install the air cleaner hose.
9. Install the front grille.

10. Evacuate and recharge the air conditioning system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.  See: Refrigerant/Service and Repair
11. Operate the A/C system and test for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing.  See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General
