1. Install new O-rings coated with mineral base 525 Viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Install the evaporator outlet tube to the vehicle.
3. Install the evaporator outlet tube to the body mounted retainers.
4. Install the evaporator outlet tube to the expansion valve.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Slide the plate (2) clockwise and install the bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt (1) to 35 N.m (26 lb ft)

6. Connect the evaporator outlet tube to the compressor suction hose (4).

Tighten
Tighten the fitting to 35 N.m (26 lb ft)

7. Install the evaporator outlet tube hold-down retainers. Secure with the 2 bolts.
8. Install the EVAP canister to its bracket.
9. Install the air cleaner hose.

10. Install the front grille.
11. Evacuate and recharge the air conditioning system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
12. Operate the A/C system and test for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing.
