Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement

Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement 

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement  (See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
2. Open the rear side door outside handle rod retainer (2) and remove the rear side door outside handle rod (1) from the rear side door outside handle

(3).

3. Remove the following components from the door:

1. The 2 bolts
2. The outside handle (3)

Installation Procedure

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear side door outside handle (3) to the door. Secure the handle with the 2 bolts.

Tighten the rear side door outside handle bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the rear side door outside handle rod (1) to the outside handle (3). Secure the rod by closing the rear side door outside handle rod retainer

(2).

3. Install the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement  (See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
