Rear Door Limiter: Service and Repair
Door Check Link Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the rear side door water deflector. 
2. Remove the rear side door check pin (2) which secures the rear side door check (3) to doorjamb.
3. Remove the following components from the door:

The 2 bolts (1)

The door check (3)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the rear side door check (3) to the door through the inner door panel access hole. Secure the check with the 2 bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the rear side door check bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the door check (3) to the door jamb. Secure the check with the pin (2).
3. Install the rear side door water deflector.
