Rear Seat Back Replacement (2 Door)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment panel, if equipped. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement) in Body Rear End.

2. Pull up on the rear seat back cushion latch release knobs. Fold the rear seat back cushion forward.
3. Remove the rear floor carpet (3) from the rear seat back cushion (1) by releasing the velcro (4). Position the carpet (3) aside in order to gain access

to the seat back cushion mounting bolts.

4. Gently pry loose and remove the rear seat recliner lower finish covers (2,5).

5. Remove the rear seat recliner rear mounting bolts (2).
6. Return the seat back cushion (1) to the upright position in order to gain the necessary access to the rear seat recliner front mounting bolt.

7. Pull the rear seat pull strap (2) while raising the back of the rear seat cushion (1).
