Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Bracket Replacement
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Bracket Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Remove the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) (4) and the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) (1) as an assembly from the lower
BPMV bracket (3). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement.
3. Remove the three lower BPMV bracket nuts attaching the lower BPMV bracket (3) to the wheel housing.
4. Remove the lower BPMV bracket (3) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the lower BPMV bracket (3) to the wheel house.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the three BPMV bracket nuts to the studs on the lower BPMV bracket (3).
Tighten the three BPMV bracket nuts to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the BPMV and EBCM as an assembly to the lower BPMV bracket (3). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement.
4. Perform the Automated Bleed Procedure.
