Tracker 4WD V6-2.5L VIN 4 (2001)
2. Install the 3 park brake retainers and the 3 park brake retainer bolts in order to retain the cable to the vehicle.
Tighten the park brake retainer bolts to 10 Nm (88.5 inch lbs.).
Important: The color ring on the park brake cable is for identification. Verify the new park brake cable has the same color on the ring as the old park
brake cable.
3. Install the brake cable stopper ring (2) and the park brake cable (3) to the backing plate (1).
4. Install the park brake cable spring (1) and the nipple end (2) to the park brake shoe lever (3).
5. Install the lower return spring (4).
6. Install the following components:

The strut
^
The adjuster (2)
