Tracker 4WD V6-2.5L VIN 4 (2001)
4. Remove the 4 screws (1,3,4,6), the 2 clips (2,5), and lift up the console.
5. Inspect the park brake lever notches. If the notches are damaged or worn, replace the park brake lever. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly
Replacement.
6. If the vehicle has an automatic transmission, disconnect the power normal switch connector.
7. If the vehicle has an auxiliary power outlet, disconnect the auxiliary power outlet connector.
8. Disconnect the park brake switch connector (10).
9. Loosen or tighten the park brake cable lock nut (1) in order to adjust the park brake lever travel.
