Evaporator Tube Replacement - Outlet

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the front grille.
3. Remove the air cleaner hose.
4. Slide the EVAP canister out of its bracket and position aside.
5. Remove the bolt (1) from the expansion valve.
6. Slide the plate (2) counterclockwise and remove the evaporator outlet tube from the expansion valve.

7. Disconnect the filling from the compressor suction pipe (4).
8. Remove the 2 bolts from the evaporator outlet tube hold-down retainers.
9. Remove the evaporator outlet tube from the body mounted retainers.

10. Remove the evaporator outlet tube from the vehicle.
