Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Notice: Refer to Installing Hoses Without Twists or Bends Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the power steering gear inlet hose and the 2 gaskets to the power steering pump.
2. Install the hose fitting in order to retain the hose to the pump.

Tighten the fitting to 60 Nm (43.5 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the power steering gear inlet hose (6) and the 2 gaskets to the steering gear.
4. Install the fitting (5) in order to retain the hose to the gear.

Tighten the fitting to 35 Nm (25.5 ft. lbs.).

5. Add power steering fluid to the reservoir (6). Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid.

6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System.
