THIS SERVICE UPDATE INCLUDES VEHICLES IN DEALER INVENTORY AND CUSTOMER VEHICLES THAT RETURN TO THE
DEALERSHIP FOR ANY REASON. IT WILL EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE INVOLVED VEHICLE'S NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY
PERIOD.

Purpose

This bulletin provides a service procedure to inspect, and if necessary, reinstall the liftgate window hinge pin C-clip on certain 2009 model year
Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, and Saab 9-7X vehicles. On some of these vehicles, the liftgate window hinge pin clip may not have been installed
properly, resulting in the misalignment of the window when the liftgate is opened and closed (window not opened). The customer may or may not notice
wind noise and/or a water leak. If the pin separates from the hinge while the window is being operated, the window strut at the unsecured hinge will force
the affected side of the glass upward, and the window will not fully open. The window can be closed but will require a 2-hand operation.

This service procedure should be completed as soon as possible on involved vehicles currently in dealer inventory and customer vehicles that return to
the dealer for any type of service during the New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage period.
