Installation Procedure

1. Install a new seal (2) into the transmission case.
2. Install the filler tube (1) into the seal.
3. Remove the drain pan.

4. Install the catalytic converter heat shield.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

5. Tighten the heat shield to transmission bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

6. Install the nut (2) securing the filler tube to the secondary AIR stud (1).
