Front Door Interior Handle: Service and Repair

Door Handle Replacement - Front Inside

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door  See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair

2. Using a small flat-bladed tool, remove the front door inside handle from the lock module.

3. Pull back on the door inside handle assembly.

4. Separate the upper and lower portions from each other. Slide the upper and lower portions off the lock rods.

Installation Procedure

1. Replace the upper and lower portions on the lock rods. Slide the upper and lower portions together.
