Push the sliding door-opening carpet retainer(s) (1) to the retainer support.
Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate
DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - LIFTGATE
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the rear compartment storage unit, if equipped.
3. Remove the push-in fasteners located at each end of the sill plate.
4. Grasp the sill plate and pull upward, releasing the retaining clips securing the sill plate to the vehicle.
