4. Remove the rear seat belt excushions.Left side shown right side simular.
5. Remove the rear accessory panel. Refer toAccessory Panel Replacement - Rear (See: Accessory Panel Replacement - Rear) .
6. Remove the rear seat belt anchor retainer bolts . Refer toSeat Belt Retractor Replacement - Rear (LWB w/RPO E59) Seat Belt Retractor
Replacement - Rear (SWB) in Seat Belts.
7. Remove the upper cargo net retainers.
8. Remove the liftgate sill plate. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) .
9. Remove the rear quarter trim panel retainers usingJ 38778 .
10. Feed the seat belts through the openings in the trim panel.
11. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.
