Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Connect the power steering pressure hose to the pump.

Tighten the fitting to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the power steering hose retainer to the power steering gear.
5. Install the drive belt.  
6. Raise the vehicle.
7. Install a utility stand in order to support the frame assembly.
8. Remove the frame rear bolts.
9. Use the utility stand in order to lower the frame rear to gain access.

10. Connect the power steering hose to the steering gear.

Tighten the fitting to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).

11. Install the power steering gear hose clip.
12. Install the power steering gear heat shield. 
13. Use the utility stand in order to raise the frame rear.
14. Install the frame rear bolts.

^

Tighten the bolts to 165 Nm (122 ft. lbs.).

15. Remove the utility stand.
16. Install the intermediate shaft to the steering gear. 
17. Lower the vehicle.
18. Bleed the power steering system.
