Removal Procedure
Notice: Refer to Avoid chipping or scratching the coating.
1. Remove the wiper module. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement.
Important: Lift the vehicle using ONLY a frame-contact vehicle lift. Do NOT lift the vehicle using a suspension-contact vehicle lift.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the tire and wheel.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Remove the strut upper nuts.
6. Raise the vehicle.
7. Scribe the strut to the knuckle.
