Uplander AWD V6-3.5L VIN 8 (2005)
1. Once aligned, secure the crank arm nut (4) while holding the crank arm between the 2 motor casting dimples (2).
IMPORTANT: Position the wiper motor crank arm onto the pivot shaft and ensure the crank arm is positioned between the 2 dimples (2) on the
wiper motor transmission assembly.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
2. Using the J 39529, connect the transmission link (1) to the wiper motor crank arm (5).
3. Secure the wiper module. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
5. Verify the operation of the wiper system.
6. Close the hood.
