7. Remove the suction hose to A/C compressor nut.
8. Remove the suction hose (5) from the A/C compressor.
9. Remove and discard the sealing washer (2).

10. Cap or tape the suction port on the A/C compressor.
11. Remove the suction hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install a NEW sealing washer (2) onto the A/C compressor end of the suction hose.
2. Remove the cap or tape from the suction port on the A/C compressor.
3. Install the suction hose (5) to the A/C compressor.
4. Install the suction hose to A/C compressor nut.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the nut to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
