Rear Latch Detent Switch - Power Sliding Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the sliding door rear lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Sliding Door Rear  (See: Locks/Door Locks/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Lock Replacement - Sliding Door Rear) .

2. Remove the detent switch retaining screw from the body side of the lock.
3. Pull the detent switch from the locating hole on the lock.

4. Rotate and pull the detent switch arm from the lock arm.

5. Remove the detent switch from the lock.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the detent switch to the lock.
2. Push the detent switch arm into the lock arm.
3. Align the detent switch locating pin with the locating hole on the lock.
