Flash - Engine Roughness or Idle Fluctuation
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software.

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with a 2.7L or 3.5L engine (sales code EER or EGG) that were built before February 12, 2005 (MDH
0212XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Engine or RPM undershooting while slowing to a stop. This condition may be more prevalent when holding steering wheel against stop or in parking lot
maneuvers.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (DRBIII(R)) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures in TechCONNECT, verify all engine systems are functioning as designed. If
DTCs are present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
If the vehicle operator describes or the technician experiences the Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.
