Hydraulic Lifters - Removal
REMOVAL

1. Perform the HEV high voltage power down procedure See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Service and Repair/Battery
System - High Voltage Power Down
2. Disconnect the 12 volt battery system ground isolation connector (1).
3. Remove the cylinder head See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Cylinder Head - Removal
4. Remove the tappet guide holder retaining bolt (1) from the tappet guide holder assembly (2).
