12. Slightly raise the front of the air cleaner housing up off the throttle body and then slide forward to remove the rear air cleaner housing pegs (2)
from the grommets (1) on the rear of the intake manifold.
NOTE: The factory fuel injection wiring harness is numerically tagged (INJ 1, INJ 2, etc.) for injector position identification. If the harness is
not tagged, note wiring location before removal.
13. Disconnect the electrical connectors at all fuel injectors. Push the red colored slider away from the injector while pushing slider, depress tab and
remove connectors from the injectors and reposition harness out of the way.
NOTE: Excessive fuel spillage onto the gaskets can cause gaskets to expand and dislodge from gasket groove.
14. Disconnect the fuel supply line quick connect fitting at the fuel rail (1) and plug the fuel supply line with a shipping cap to prevent spillage See:
