Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Service and Repair
Transmission Range Sensor - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove the valve body. See: Valve Body/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Valve Body - Removal.
2. Disconnect the transmission range sensor electrical connector (1).
3. Remove the bolt (1) securing the transmission range sensor (2) to the mainshaft (3).
4. Remove the mainshaft roll pin (1) from the transmission case (2) and remove the mainshaft.
