5. Install the seal boot (2) onto the seal slinger (3)
6. Install a new seal boot clamp onto the seal boot, at the seal slinger, and tighten the clamp with Crimp Tool C-4975A
7. Install the front propeller shaft. See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Drive Shaft - Installation 

8. Check the transfer case fluid level and correct as necessary.  See: Service and Repair/Procedures/MP3010 Transfer Case - Fluid Drain and Refill

Rear Output Shaft Seal - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Remove the rear propeller shaft. See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Drive Shaft - Removal.

2. Remove the rear output shaft seal (1) from the transfer case (2) with a suitable pry tool or a screw mounted in a slide hammer.

NOTE: Lubricate all seals with MOPAR(R) ATF+4 prior to installation.
