Headlining Wiring Service
MODELS:
1995 (JA) Cirrus/Stratus
DISCUSSION:
The headlining wiring is an integral part of the headlining on these vehicles. If either component requires service, they must be removed, installed, or
replaced together. To remove the headlining from the vehicle it is necessary to disconnect the headlining wiring connector from the junction block and
feed the wiring out near the "A" post. There are two clips holding the harness to a bracket under the instrument panel, and a third clip to another bracket
near the junction block. These clips must be disengaged to remove the wiring.
To install the headlining/wiring harness assembly, it is not possible to reinstall the first two clips after feeding the harness down the "A" post. The
harness should be wrapped with foam tape, Mopar P/N 4318028, in the area of the two clips to prevent rattles. The third clip near the junction block can
be easily installed before the connection is made.
