Remove the screw retaining the brake tube routing clip and GENTLY bend brake tubes up SLIGHTLY to allow clearance for installation of
reinforcement plate (Figure 9).

Loosen (DO NOT remove) the right front horizontal HCU bracket mounting screw three turns (Figure 10).
5.
Slide the provided HCU reinforcement plate between the HCU and bracket. Position the end of the plate so that it aligns with the end of the HCU
(Figure 10 and 11).
Note:
The offset portion of the reinforcement plate must face the HCU bracket
6.
Torque right front horizontal HCU bracket screw to 250 in-lbs (28 N.m) (Figure 11).
7.
GENTLY bend brake tubes back to their original position and install the tube routing clip and attaching bolt (Figure 9).
