Air Door Actuator / Motor: Description and Operation
Description
The mode door actuator, located in the A/C-Heater housing, is controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM). When the operator requests a mode of
operation, the BCM processes the signal from the control head and actuates the mode door to the proper position.
Circuit C35 is used for the mode door motor driver feed. The C34 circuit is used for the mode door motor driver ground. The mode door actuator also
provides the BCM with information on its position. Circuit C26 is the 5 volt feed from the BCM to the mode door sensor. Circuit C37 is used for the
feedback to the BCM on mode door position. A sensor ground is provided from the mode door to the BCM on circuit C57.
