Remove O-rings from regulator.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install new O-rings on replacement regulator, and lube with clean motor oil.

Ensure plastic spacers are on regulator.
3.
Install fuel pressure regulator into rail.
4.
Install injector hold down screw. Torque to 60 in-lbs (7 Nm).
5.
Install regulator vacuum hose.
6.
Connect negative battery cable, and install fuel tank cap.
7.
Connect the DRB II scan tool and select the Automatic Shut Down (ASD) Fuel System Test to pressurize fuel system and check for leaks. SEE
COMPUTERS AND CONTROL SYSTEMS/SCAN TOOL ORIENTATION.
CAUTION: Unless the test is stopped or the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position the fuel pump relay and the ASD relay will remain energized
for 7 minutes by the ASD Fuel System Test.
