Place two tie straps around the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler hoses approximately 178 mm (7 in.) inboard of the left edge of the condenser
fins. Insert a mounting strap (from the engine side) through the radiator and A/C condenser fins so it passes between the transmission fluid
auxiliary cooler hoses and the tie straps (Refer to Figure 5).

28.

Use additional tie straps to secure proper positioning of the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler hoses as necessary.

NOTE: 

THE AMOUNT OF REFRIGERANT USED TO CHARGE THE A/C SYSTEM IS CRITICAL TO SYSTEM PERFORMANCE. DO NOT VARY
THE A/C SYSTEM CHARGE FROM THE AMOUNT SPECIFIED BELOW.

29.

Charge the A/C system with 0.74 Kg (1.62 lbs.) of R134a refrigerant using the procedure outlined in the appropriate service manual.

30.

Start and run the engine until the powertrain reaches normal operating temperature. Check all transmission fluid auxiliary cooler hose connections
for leaks and tighten clamps as necessary.

31.

Check and adjust the transmission fluid level using the procedure outlined in the appropriate service manual.
