ENTER VEHICLE AT THE PASSENGER FOOT AREA.

Cut out a 1" diameter circle of foam off of the top of the right heat distribution duct, Figure 2.

4.

Install right heat distribution duct.

5.

Remove cowl cover as described on page 23-25 of the 1997 Concorde/Intrepid/Vision/LHS Service Manual (Publication No. 81-270-7140).

6.

Remove cowl plenum screen from right side plenum area.

1993-1994 MODEL YEAR, PERFORM STEPS 7 THRU 10, 1995-1997 MODEL YEAR, SKIP TO STEP 9.

7.

Remove (4) vertical ribs from the cowl plenum closure as shown using a hack-saw or saws-all, Figure 3.

NOTE: 

CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO ENSURE REMOVED SHEETMETAL DOES NOT ENTER THE HVAC UNIT THROUGH THE FRESH AIR
INTAKE.

8.

Touch up exposed bare sheetmetal with Mopar Touch-Up Paint or equivalent.

9.

Install revised cowl plenum screen, p/n 04756940AB.

10.

Install cowl cover.
