Concorde V6-215 3.5L SOHC (1996)
Radiator: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system.
2. Remove sight shields and both headlamp modules.
3. Discharge and recover A/C refrigerant as outlined in the "Air Conditioning" section.
4. Remove upper radiator crossmember, then the coolant hose clamps and hoses from radiator.
5. Disconnect automatic transaxle cooler lines from radiator.
6. On models equipped with an auxiliary transaxle cooler, disconnect rubber auxiliary cooler lines.
7. On all models, disconnect radiator fan wiring from the RFI module.
8. Disconnect upper radiator mounting screws.
9. On models equipped with engine block heater, disconnect wiring.
10. On all models, disconnect A/C lines from condenser.
11. Lift condenser and radiator unit from vehicle.
12. Remove A/C condenser mounting screws, then separate radiator from A/C condenser.
13. On models equipped with an auxiliary transaxle cooler, remove plastic retaining straps and remove cooler.
14. On all models, reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque A/C condenser mounting screws to 45 in-lbs.
b. Torque radiator hose clamps to 22 in-lbs.
c. Refill and bleed cooling system as outlined under "Cooling System, Bleed."
d. Check automatic transaxle oil level and replenish as necessary.
e. Recharge air conditioning system as outlined in the "Air Conditioning" section.
