Washer Fluid Level Indicator: Description and Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATION
Power for the low washer fluid lamp is provided on circuit G5. Ground for the lamp is supplied on circuit G129. This circuit connects between the
message center and the Body Control Module (BCM).
A low washer fluid level switch, located in the washer fluid reservoir, provides an input to the BCM on circuit G29. This switch is normally
OPEN.
When the switch CLOSES, a ground path is completed from the BCM, circuit G29, through the CLOSED switch, to ground on the Z1 circuit.
Circuit Z1 terminates at the left front frame rail.
The BCM processes this signal and grounds circuit G129 illuminating the lamp in the message center.
