8. Verify the rear spoiler operation by using the manual override switch to operate the spoiler making sure there is smooth operation and proper

alignment.

REMOVAL

CAUTION:  The spoiler must be in its up position to remove the motor. If the spoiler cannot be put in its up position the entire spoiler assembly must be
replaced.

1. Remove the spoiler wing (8).
2. Remove the lower hatch trim panel.
3. Remove the mounting plate.
