SOLENOID VALVE
DESCRIPTION
The BAS solenoid valve is an electrically activated device used to increase brake assist.
OPERATION
The BAS solenoid valve is activated by the Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) Module. When activated, a poppet valve opens and allows atmospheric
pressure to enter the rear of the power brake booster diaphragm and increases the brake pressure.
