Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

BRAKE PRESSURE SENSOR 

DESCRIPTION 

There are two brake pressure sensors incorporated into the master cylinder on this vehicle. These sensors are used to monitor brake pressures for the
front and rear brake hydraulic systems.

OPERATION 

These sensors are used to measure brake fluid pressure within the master cylinder. The sensors send a analog voltage signal to the ESP/BAS control
module.
