Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Rear

SPRING 

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.

3. Remove the control arm cover by removing the bolts (1) from the cover.

4. Remove the lower shock bolts (2) from the lower control arm.

5. Brace the rear suspension lower control arm with a suitable lifting device. Raise the control arm until the half shaft is horizontal. Using Special

Tool 9152 Compressor Plates and 9150 Spring Compressor (1) compress the rear spring.
