Center Console Cup Holder/Storage Bin Exchange
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing a cup holder with a storage bin at the customer's option.

Crossfire Coupe/Crossfire Roadster
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may notice that the cup holder is broken or inoperative.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the cup holder is broken or inoperative and the customer wants another cup holder, this bulletin does not apply. If the cup holder is broken or
inoperative and the customer would like a storage bin in place of the cup holder, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
SPECIAL TOOLS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Remove the cup holder from the center console. Refer to the detailed removal procedures available in TechCONNECT, under: Service Info, 23 -
Body, Interior, Center Console, Removal, Removal - Cup Holder.
2.
Install the rear center console in the vehicle. Refer to the detailed installation procedures available in TechCONNECT, under: Service Info, 23 -
Body, Interior, Center Console, Installation, Installation- Center Console Rear.
3.
Place the storage bin, p/n 1BQ12XDVAA, with the two nubs on the bottom facing forward, in the opening where the cup holder was previously
located and press down firmly until it snaps into place.
