With the technician laying on his back in the top storage area, reach through from the top storage area, loosen and remove the Torx head screw
(size T20) behind the emergency release handle (Fig. 13).

Remove the decklid trim fasteners (11) (Fig. 13).

Move the decklid trim panel to gain access to the decklid latch.

With the technician laying on his back in the top storage area; reach through from the top storage area and reposition the deck lid latch blocker by
pushing the blocker toward the passenger side with a screwdriver (Fig. 14).
