Symptom/Condition, Diagnosis & Parts Information
SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Rough cold idle or driveway die out after cold engine starting in low ambient temperatures (32~F or lower) due to contamination of MAP sensor or
MAP sensor connecting hose.
DIAGNOSIS
It may be necessary to diagnose this condition when the engine is cold and the ambient air temperature is below 32~F. If there is any liquid in the MAP
sensor hose or a plugged MAP sensor hose due to ice, the following repair must be performed.
