SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Water on top of floor carpet, door sill weatherstrip, or soaked through from under floor carpet.
DIAGNOSIS:
If water is found on top of floor carpet and on door seal weatherstrip perform Repair Procedure A. If water is found under floor carpet or soaked through
from under carpet perform Repair Procedure B and/or Procedure C.

Repair Procedure
This bulletin involves resealing: "A"- door seals/weatherstrips and/or water-shields, "B" windshield, and/or "C"- A-pillar to load beam to cowl body
joints.
Procedure A
1.
Check that the door seals/weatherstrips are fully installed on the flange and not damaged. Repair or replace as necessary.
2.
Remove the door trim panel(s) in affected area and inspect the watershield(s) for tears or damage. Repair or replace as necessary.
3.
Check that the mastic/butyl bead near the edge of the water-shield is fully adhered to the door surface. Repair as necessary.
